Happy New Year from Butler Supply!

We are excited to announce that we recently received notice from the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) that Butler Supply is now officially recognized as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE). WBE certification affirms that Butler Supply is a woman-owned and controlled business.

WBENC Certification validates that businesses are 51 percent owned and controlled by a woman or women. To achieve WBENC Certification, Butler Supply completed a formal evaluation process. WBENC Certification gives us the ability to compete for real-time business opportunities with organizations who value, or require, supplier diversity.

This Certification will provide growth opportunities for our Valued Customers, which gives you even more reasons to continue to do business with us. To maximize our mutual opportunities, we will be aggressively marketing this Certification moving forward to help aid in our push for growth.

To be clear, Butler Supply was not bought, and there is no change to senior leadership roles. The certification is a reflection of my growing role in the company, which was founded by my grandfather, C.E. “Ed” Butler, in 1941.
